Forged Weld Neck Flange is a common type of flange components. Compared with other types of flanges, butt welding flanges have their own unique applicable environment, so the performance and usage of butt welding flanges must be known during construction.
Forged Weld Neck Flange is somewhat similar to other types of flanges. Selecting excellent billet blanking, heating, forming, and cooling after forging are the steps in the welding flange forging process. The methods of forging process include free forging, die forging and fetal membrane forging, and different casting methods are selected according to the quality and production batch of forgings during production.
Forged Weld Neck Flange is usually used in environments with medium conditions such as low-pressure unpurified compressed air and low-pressure circulating water, and has the advantage of being relatively inexpensive. The sealing surface of butt welding flange is divided into three types: smooth type, concave-convex type and tongue-and-groove type. The smooth butt welding flange has a wide range of applications, and the other two butt welding flanges are also used in many ways. The butt welding flange has reasonable structure, high strength, high rigidity, and can withstand high temperature and high pressure. Various harsh environments such as repeated bending and temperature fluctuations will not degrade sealing performance.
